Christmas Decorating

Today was a really fun day for us. We get a real tree each year, from the Lion's Club--set up by Wal-Mart--but this year, Sofia had a really fun time looking at the trees and throwing snow balls at us. Henry walked around looking at the trees and didn't get too fussy, so that was great too!

When we got home, Sofia and I started putting lights up outside; this seems to be a tradition in our house--the women doing ALL the work! :) Justin did come outside for awhile to give me some advice, which I didn't pay attention to, and he played in the snow with Sofia. I'll post some pictures here of the whole event; I'm happy to have it all done; we're saving the tree for tomorrow night.

OUCH!

My carpal tunnel has returned with this pregnancy. I was hopeful that it would stay away, and it did for much longer than in the previous two pregnancies, but it's back with a vengeance! I didn't sleep much last night, but Justin let me take a little nap while he played with the kids outside. Every time I lay down, though, it returns. With Henry, it didn't last too long, so I am hopeful this will be the case this time too. If not, I only have 4-5 weeks left if I go full-term. We'll see what happens.

Sof fell today and hit her cheek on a stool; she's got a bruise! Just in time for Christmas pictures! Perfect!

Just about T-giving Time

Well, there's lots going on in our household this week. I'm finished with school for the week--hurray! And I got adventurous and brought Henry and Sof to the library after work. This was a lot of work and might be something that we wait to do until baby arrives. We're still a few weeks out from this, but we are gearing up for it. Sofia is very excited; Henry doesn't have any idea what's in store for him, but hopefully he'll get use to it quickly. For all of our sakes!!

We're off to Westby in a few days to share the holiday with Justin's family. It will be nice to sit back and enjoy Nana's cooking!

Happy Thanksgiving!
